Cecily is a work at home mom to the adorable two year old Tori, who has more energy than a frat boy on speed. As a result, Cecily is constantly on the hunt for fun and interesting things to do with her daughter-- anything and everything she can find. Cecily lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia (barely the suburbs--Lansdowne), and while a transplant (moved here in 1986) to the area is passionate about her city. Seriously, Cecily thinks Philadelphia is the best city on the East Coast (affordable, cultured, beautiful, historic, and fun) and is committed to making it everyone else's favorite town too. Cecily works as a freelance writer and blog consultant, and is thrilled that she gets to spend her days home with her daughter. Except when her daughter has a tantrum. Then she wonders why she quit her job already.
